Food here is delicious. Always a great selection of beer. What makes this place so great, though, is the staff -- they go above and beyond. A true neighborhood bar. The grouper tacos are awesome!

Great tacos, excellent beer selection, and suprisingly superb sandwiches...get the BBQ beef with onion rings, awesome!

Wow what a surprise. Delicious and surprisingly authentic Mexican food. Probably one of the best nachos I have had. They use authentic Mexican cheese which I have only seen used in Cali. I got the shrimp tacos...yummy! And by the way, they actually make thieir own hot sauce. Need I say more? I also had the pomegranate margarita on the rocks...well done. This has become my 'go to' Mexican place for a low stress ambiance and great food.

Jose's is the best Philly bar for neighborhood fun, excellent food, amazing beer, and downright good times. The staff is so down-to-earth, you will always having a great time! Specials are always going on and the owners are amazing!

I live about two blocks away and never made my way in to Jose Pistolas. The food was really good, especially for the prices. They have incredible beer and they're not stuck up about it which is nice.

Thanks for the poor service and poor food Jose Pistola's! I'll never come here again for your over-priced watered down alcohol and rude wait staff. The bathroom looks like Croatia.

Being a fan of the great individualized local bars that the city has, this is a great addition. Solid food, loved the fish tacos and pork nachos and you can't go wrong with the beer [select]ion. Good stuff overall.
