Kashmir Garden

I love food, any kind/type of food. I was blown away by the quality of food and this is my first time rating a restaurant, that says something as I use internet all the time and being using internet for nearly 20 years. I am not privy to pricy restaurants that does not deliver for the money you spend. Here the food is very authentic and I didn't feel anything artificial. I am also very sensitive to artificial flavorings, additives and colorings, even when I don't know my stomach knows as I get upset stomach all the time. I have yet to find this good Indian/South Asian food anywhere. I have been to many cities in CA, TX, LA, MA, OH, NY, DE, AZ, OR, CO, MD, MI and GA. Here in PA, I was destined to have the best Indian food. When you go to many Indian restaurants the curries have the same taste as they use nearly the same mix of spices in preparing them but they should absolutely not be tasting the same, as when you ask your aunt, mom or grand ma to cook back at home they never do taste the same, here at Kashmiri Garden curries are distinctly different and divine to the palate. I am from Sri Lanka, I have to honestly say they felt to me like whenever we had a cultural function back at home we used to have really good food (usually Indian and Sri Lankan food is different but Karala and Sri Lankan food is very close this seems to me as nearly what I used to have) and what I had reminded me of those days. If the folks who are running this place keep up this great culinary tradition I would promise to go every week at least as my schedule permits.

Food is spicy but not too hot.Lunch was great and i did not have to pay for the bread which I do not eat anyways.Chai is too expensive so I skip it.

Poor service, unkept and not clean atmosphere, very few options avaliable at buffet, overpriced for weekend buffet due to little selection and food quality

lots of options, tandoori chicken and Nan itself was filling, but lot more to eat. me and my friends had a blast. i started going there every saturday and sunday

Ordered chicken tikka masala....asked if it came with rice, he said yes....but didnt get any rice and was charged a few bucks more(doesn't make sense to me). The taste was good, wasn't anything too special. The naan was buttery and fine. Ordered the masala dosa....it was very good(not the best though), the ingredients inside were tasty and had me begging for more. Went there to pickup my food and I had to wait 30 additional minutes even though I got there 30 minutes after I ordered (as they had wanted). The individual who gave me my food and took my money was not very welcoming. He did not speak much and overcharged me (I checked the prices on the updated menu). The decor was so dated and did not match the indian theme they were trying to have. The place had grimy tables and walls. Electrical sockets were undone, things falling apart here and there. There was a red stained curtain blocking the kitchen entrance, unfortunately the bottom of the curtain was chest high so I was able to see the grimy kitchen they were working and yelling to each other in. Overall, food was just fine, but how can you eat at/from a place that looks like this? Kashmir Garden, please spend a little to fix your place and hire a decorater please!...then I just might come there to dine and spend a little more money!

Under new management~ the atmosphere, service, new menu and most delicious food is served beautifully! High quality Indian food with reasonable prices~ something for everyone. Clean and welcoming~ If you like Indian food..you won't be disappointed!

we love the chicken tikka masala!it is sooo delicious. we also have enjoyed the sunday buffets! i am ordering the biriyani for the first time today. i hope it is good, as i have tasted very good biriyani elsewhere. but this is a place you should visit. i think the price is not bad either!
