When my wife and I first moved up into the Northeast back in the mid 90's we simply LOVED Kelly's. After a couple of years we noticed changes, bad changes. The first was the poor quality of food. The lobster tails seemed to get smaller and smaller. The steak was a lower and lower quality. Next we noticed that the service was getting poor. Our waitresses would disappear into the back and we would lose track of them. Any time we needed something our waitress was mia. One time we waited 35 minutes just to pay our bill. The food itself became an issue when I ordered a blackened spicy salmon dish that was inedible. The fish was overcooked and over peppered. I asked the waitress if she could stomach it and she couldn't. I sent it back but was never offered a replacement dish. The final straw came when we spent nearly 3 hours in the restaurant. Most of that time was spent waiting, waiting for the waitress to place our order, waiting for the food to be cooked and to be served and finally waiting to pay our bill. The calamari I got was stuck together and rubbery. My wife's vegetables were overcooked and mushy. We have not been back in at least 5 years and have NO plans on returning.

Kelly’s – no longer great! Very disappointed last Friday. Went with a party of 9, of which 4 wanted the all you can eat King/Snow Crab Legs. We specifically called to be sure they were serving them and made a reservation for 7PM which is the start of the all you can eat. When taking our order at 7:15 we were told they were all out of King/Snow Crab Legs. Manager said they were all sold out, however 2 tables near us continued to get their orders. He did provide 1 round of King Crab Legs, the spiny ones you normally get as the third plate, and supplemented the rest of the meal with Dungeness Crabs. We have been going to Kelly’s for several years, from New Jersey, and bringing people to enjoy the all you can eat. Friday we had some in our party who drove an hour to meet us there. Guess all good things come to an end, and it’s the end of our visits to Kelly’s !

Disappointing experience. Looking forward to the nice, spicy clams with linguine and got overcooked mush in sprinkly ketchup. Too bad. The portion was big but who needs big when they are serving overcooked spaghetti.

I was at Kelley's seafood for dinner tonite and let me say "I NEVER leave there disappointed!!" I was a little confused with the 35 minute wait when there were at least 5 to 10 tables empty but it was worth the wait , especially after we sat down and met are waitress. She was great!! She made us very comfortable and I greatly appreciate that when I go out to dinner. I have never waited long for my food no matter how busy they are. You cannot beat the prices or the portions and their food is exceptional. I just left a couple of hours ago and I can't wait to go back! I definetly recommend this place and I will definetly be back there next week especially if I get the skinny blonde waitress again (hopefully, my wife doesn't read this)
