Cool
Although jam packed with the college crowd, if you hit this place on an off time you will enjoy your visit. It’s decorated in a very authentic Irish way. The Bangers are fun and tasty, and they have a good lineup of beers. I would recommend sitting in the window on a night afternoon, before the party crowd arrives.

Disappointed
My boyfriend and I went there for dinner recently for the first time. We 've been there for drinks before but wanted to try the food out. We were seated right away but it took almost 15 minutes to get served a DRINK...not acceptable for an Irish Pub. I had a bowl of the Baked Five Onion to start with .... it was ok, but I have definitely have had MUCH better french onion soup. For the main course I ordered the grilled chicken Boxty thinking it would be awesome and something different and I was really disappointed. The Boxty was ok, but I felt misled with a description of "filling stuffed potato pancake"...it tasted similar to an omlet to be honest. The "vegetable of the day" were a frozen medley and the broccoli was brownish (I didn't eat it). The mashed potatoes were just so-so. You could tell it was sitting out under a heat lamp for a while too. My boyfriend got the all you can eat stew, which too had a nice layer of "heat lamp" skin on the top of it. Overall, I would not eat there again.
