While pricier than most Indian in CC, King of Tandoor is worth it. The dining room is pleasantly decorated, suitable for a nice evening out as well as for lunch out with coworkers. The food is fresh, tasty, and well-spiced. The paneer mattar and naan were comfort food at its best. My friend raved about his lamb dish for an hour after our meal. Portions were very satisfying. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes.

AMAZING. I'm usually not a fan of Indian food that's not from India. This is because it's usually overpriced, poor service or mainly sub-par food. I was staying over at the Sheraton and dined in and it was amazing. The food is fairly priced negotiating with how delicious and authentic the food is. The restaurant it self is suited for any occasion: dinner, party, date, meeting etc. the only thing is that if it gets really busy (as it should) the food takes a little longer and the waiters are a bit more rushed but over all this restaurant is a not-to-miss!

Never dined in at King of Tandoor, but have ordered from them many times. I moved from New York about a year ago and travel in England regularly (where the best food is often Indian), so I am quite picky about my Indian food. King of Tandoor does it right! As the name indicates, some of their best dishes are from the tandoori oven. I highly recommend the chicken tikka masala and the tikka makhani. Either of those with a side of papadam and mango pickle and you can't go wrong. Great food, excellent delivery. Highly recommended!

The saag paneer isn't canned and it's actually green, fragrant and delicious. The fish curry is delightful and so is the channa masala. I haven't had everything on the menu but what I have sampled so far outshines my Philly Indian food experiences.

I'm not normally the type to complain about service, but King of Tandoor is ridiculous. If you go, you need to budget 2 hours because you never know how long it will take for your food and/or bill to arrive. I have yet to pay with a credit card because I was always afraid I'd have to wait another 15 minutes for them to process it. The only other thing that bugs me is that I feel like they really try to push you to spend more. Like the appetizer that they don't tell you costs $5 and consists of about 6 different sauces and thin, brittle "bread". Aside from that, the food is really good. I just moved back from New York and I'd say that the food here ranks up with the best Indian in Manhattan.

King of Tandoor is our favorite Indian restaurant in Phialdelphia, and we have tried them all. Their food is fresh and flavorful, the staff warm and welcoming, and the delivery is the fastest we've experienced thus far!
