King Tut

The food was very good and there was a variety of Greek, Lebanese, North African and Indian cuisine. Portions, particularly the platters, are quite large (I took a third of my entree home). The service was prompt, gracious and patient with me when I had questions about the menu. The kitchen can vary the spicy-ness of selections to taste. We will be returning.

You haveeee to eat here. I've been all over the city and this place married amazing service and incredible food. Our waiter was a doll and the food was exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed the intimate corner restaurant and the food was to die for. I'm aboslutely going back...i went with a friend and here's what we had. Firstly, they don't serve gross city water, it was flavored with fresh herbs (so refreshing!) then we had an avacado and hummus app with imported pita bread from Israel (to die for!) then we paired it with a dinner for two which was chicken, beef and lamb combo (i had to refrain from licking the plate) and after had a baklava...I can't say enough nice things about this restaurant and how great the food was...it was a mix of egyptian and middle eastern....please try this place and experience the palate pleasing menu!

Food was really good, but service was barely existent! We ordered apps but waited forever, starving. No silverware, napkins, plates, etc. They forgot the soups; then we were told that they were out of the soup, but that they forgot to tell us. We received salad that was probably meant for the people next to us, who were despondent over having nothing, even though they were sat well before us. I will say that portions were good, and that the food tasted good, but any shred of service was in disarray. We had a Restaurant.com certificate for $50.00. We forgot to present it until the check was delivered. Unfortunately, I never looked at the original check; so the server said, "no problem" and took it back to re-figure it, and gave us a new check. It had to be completely a guess; nothing was itemized, it was a round number, tip included, and WAY more than it possibly should haven been. $190.00 for four people, before the $50.00 off...we just didn't have the patience to argue. We looked at the menu on our way out; although two of us has specials not listed, we saw all of the other prices; there's not a chance that it was even close. It couldn't possibly have been more than $140 before the discount; we even assumed that the specials were $30 each, which I'm sure was considerably generously high. . We really think that they simply added $50 to the check and then took off the $50 certificate. Whatever! I'm not one to argue when it seems like they need the money more than me! Nice try, but running a restaurant is much more than good cooking! Hopefully, someone that understands the biz will start over from scratch on EVERYTHING related to the "front of the house." Maybe worth a long-shot re-try, some day!

I have eaten here several times and each time I have enjoyed it. The service is great and the quality of the salads and main courses are top notch.

it is so nice to have a middle eastern option in this neighborhood...everything is authentic and very very good...the owner is friendly and the food is fantastic!
