Looking for a vegetarian chinese restaurant and spotted this one as we were walking. Hoping for a good experience, but came up short. Ordered Sesame Faux Chicken but did not see one sesame seed! Tasted okay though. Also ordered vegetable tempura which took forever to get and its was very greasy. They did not comp us anything on our meal. It will be quite a while before I eat chinese food again!

I've have dined her many times in the past, but it changed, The food was lousy & the tea was lukewarm. (had to ask for another pot). The s0-called veg Sesame Chicken looked like Sesame chicken you get fast food Chinese restaurant & not enough vegetables. It changed, not like it use to be.We were the only 2 in the place! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY, go somewhere else!

I am an omnivore who loves faux meat, and my husband is a vegetarian. The food here was just OK: the wonton soup was good, but the "chicken" was far too bready and the sauces were bland. The service was painfully slow. There was only one other person there when we came in, yet we waited forever for everything, and our dumplings only finally arrived AFTER we were nearly done with the rest of our food. I couldn't even find the waiter to make eye contact with for the check, and the other patron had to get up and go find him to place her order. A lunch special shouldn't take more than an hour.

I have been going to this restaurant for years and although I am not a vegetarian I love it! I have to have a few times a month and I don't live close. Although New Owners recently took over the restaurant the food is still the same and It can't be missed! The sauces and Stuffed Tofu Hotpot are especially great!

In my extended family we have two vegetarians, three people who don't eat pork or shell fish, many omnivores, but all are discerning food lovers... and we ALL love Kingdom of Vegetarians! We have been there many times in large groups (9-13 people), and have always been greeted warmly, have never felt rushed, and have always left full and satisfied. The dishes common to typical Chinese restaurants will pleasantly surprise you with their variety of vegetables (zucchini and asparagus in their lo mein!), and depth of flavor. Kingdom does not skimp. We have several favorite dishes: House Special Wonton Soup, General Tso's Chicken, Franks Delight, Eggplant with Black Bean Sauce (with giant chunks of tofu), Roast Pork Lo Mein, and Cumin Lamb. We just picked up a ton of food last night for my dad's birthday celebration, and once again, it was a hit. We have never had a bad experience. I recommend Kingdom highly.

I've always found the service to be excellent and often eat dim sum. They keep on bringing out the food. I find it useful to keep a menu during the meal in case you want to try something that they don't bring out. Great hangover cure.

This used to be my favorite vegan restraunt! We live about 6 hours away and have even, often times, contemplated making the treck just for kingdom of vegetarians. We were so excited that saturday we had something to do in philly, which meant having an exscuse to go to kingdom. It has totally changed, the service was poor, i felt like they were rushing us out the door before we even sat down to eat. they didnt bring us any of the food we wanted from dim sum, and kept saying "ok you done now, want the check?" after i had eaten 1 spring roll and 2 pieces of tofu. so basically my partner and i paid 30 bucks to eat appetizers worth of food...very very disappointing, a real bummer as this used to be THE place to eat if you are vegan...now its just overpriced food with crummy service
