Try the Grilled Salmon Salad!
I have been to numerous restaurants in my lifetime & this one is at the top of my return list! Initially KB had issues with their food(quite a few years ago) but the improvemt if the food is well worth the try. I judge a lot of my restaurants by atmosphere, service & then food & KB gets 5 stars across the board.

Poor service and management
This was 2 time dining at the Kitchen Bar and each time I experienced a problem, so I will not be returning. Each time table service was poor. The waitress seem rude and on my last visit the waitress had a problem counting our change. Which led to a dispute, and the manager didn't seem to care either. Also, we ordered the calamari and it was disappointing. We sent it back twice, each time it was over cooked and greasy. And, they refused to remove it from the bill. I will not be returning there and I will discourage other family and friends from the Kitchen Bar....

Disappointing food and service
Yesterday the food was disappointing, the expensive dish was to salty with hard rice, probably old, burger overcooked, drink (pomegranate juice) that was before served original now diluted with water and ice, juice just for a color and some taste. Disappointing to the level not to go there any more if they don't improve.

The best onion rings anywhere!
This has become our "go to" place. Whenever we don't feel like cooking and want good food that is close by this is where we go! The food is very good (the onion rings are outstanding!), the staff is always very friendly and attentive without hovering. The drinks are good and the atmosphere is nice. We've been to the Kitchen Bar for breakfast, lunch and dinner on numerous occasions and will definitely be back!

Not what I expected (in a good way!)
Passed this place a bunch of times and never thought to stop. Couldn't figure by looks or name what type of place it was. Was in the area today driving around looking for a diner for a quick breakfast between Drs appts and came to MP and found they served breakfast (yay). The atmosphere is pretty cool. Sort of retro. The service was excellent and above expected as was the food. The food was served quickly and was truly delicious. I am so glad I went. I will definitely be going back to try lunch and dinner!

Good food, nice atmosphere, ample drink selections
Kitchen Bar is owned by the same people who run the Drake Tavern in Jenkintown. There are many similarities in the drink selections as well as the happy hour buffet. The food, particularly breakfasts and dinner platters are much better at Kitchen Bar. I would say the food is generally very good, but not great. I usually order a sandwich, because the platters are too expensive for what you get in my opinion. Overall a nice place for a casual meal and a drink after work.
