    Nice New Place

If you don't mind dining with a mixed straight and gay crowd, this new place is definitely worth your time and money. The music is smooth and laid back, the menu is very ecclectic and well prepared. The service was a bit lagging, but not that bad - probably due to the fact that it's a new business. The cocktails are just right and the wine selection was more extensive than we expected. The owner ever came over and asked if everything was to our liking. My husband and I highly recommend it!

    Beauty is only skin deep

The most fashionable rest rooms around. Unfortunately most of the food for our table of five was sub-par at best. Three of our guests were not satisfied. The rolls were iced cold and extremely chewy. Salads were fair. The duck had a nice flavor but had the texture and chewed like shoe leather. The salmon was overcooked and tasteless. Wild rice was very hard yet had a burnt taste. The filet and crab cakes were good. The veg. gumbo was a sad presentation and had no "kick" whatever.

    Food needs improving

Beautiful restaurant, but the food borders on inedible. The Caesar salad came with fried plantains and manchego cheese, it needed more dressing. Very strange. The duck was ordered pink, it came out black. I could barely cut it with a knife. It should have been used for shoe leather. The vegetarian gumbo was an ugly, bland dish of vegetables with a brown sauce. The salmon also got a thumbs down. Those that tried the crab cakes and the filet mignon were satisfied. The bill for five with a bottle of wine and salads came to $160 before tax and tip.

    Oops

the room is very warm and attractive but completely a work in progress. The service was nothing short of pathetic. The server very uncordinated...running here and there . Took 20 minutes to get a drink and the food (mediocre) took an hour and a half to appear. Really a poor excuse in planning.
