Unpretentious and Delicious Eatery
It doesn't look like much from the outside, but Koch's Deli is a veritable wonderland of sandwich goodness, obvious from the moment you cross the store's threshold. My first second in the door, Ezra was yelling "Free pickle time!" and handing out slices of succulent kosher dill to everyone standing around waiting. Plus, their vegetarian menu is to die for. Most deli's turn their nose up at accommodating meatless diners, but not this place. They take pride in their homemade veggie burgers and steaks. Good food at it's best.

Best Spot
Back When Koch Was Still There. He Was The Man. The Staff Is Great, Food & Deserts Also. By Now You Know You Have To Wait In Line But All The Meat They Feed Ya With You Could Literally Go In There With A Roll & Make Your Own Sandwich. Highly Recommended By Me.

worth the wait
As stated, you will wait a long time but the food is amazing. Plus, while you're waiting, the men making your food give you samples of meat and cheese as well as pickles. You can't go wrong w/that.

the best!
Koch's is a great old fashioned deli. The sandwiches are huuuge... definitely enough for more than one meal. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for one of the few remaining great delis in the area. They even have lots of good choices for vegetarians and the staff is always very accomodating to special requests. But be prepared to wait!! The lines can be very long but the free samples they hand out make it worth it.

bad value, nickels and dimes
Buy a hoagie advertised as, say, 6.95, end up paying $8.50 or so for it after adding all the things one takes for granted as being included in the price. Want a tomato? Pay me. Want some onion? Pay me. Etc... Good (not great) sandwiches, tiny location, hot-and-cold service, bad value. If I didn't feel nickle-and-dimed to death by this place, I would visit more often.

Long wait=good sandwiches and good times
I had never been to Koch's until this past summer. My friend had been telling me to try it. He was the one who took me. This place makes some of the biggest sandwiches I have seen and the employees are a riot. The food is good and they will make sandwiches to your specifications. Be prepared to wait but also be prepared for samples. They make you try them. It is a place not to miss. Enjoy!

Mmmm.... sandwich
I'd never been here, but I live nearby and it'd been on my to-do list. I should've gone sooner. An 8 buck hoagie may seem a bit steap, but this thing was loaded to the brim, so it was 8 bucks I wasn't too bothered by parting with. And the guys behind the counter were friendly and funny, asking my friend and me about school, yada yada... kibbitzing, ya know? Now if only they'd put kugel back on the menu...
