I am very disppointed. I just paid $13.95 for tofu teriaki and got three small pieces of tofu and a couple small pieces of vegetables. Very tiny portions! Not a good value at all!

I'm not going to argue with the other reviews. This place is far and away the best sushi I've had in Philly...and I've had a lot. You can always tell if a place is legit by trying their spicy tuna rolls. If you get real chunks of tuna (not the mashed up junk), you know you're on the right track. Not only did I get nice pieces of tuna, these were probably some the spiciest tuna rolls I've ever had. The atmosphere was very minimalist with odd yet comfortable plastic chairs. I went on a Tuesday night and the place was rather slow, so the service was very good. The one draw back is that the sushi bar did not seem as inviting as other sushi bars I frequent. The counters were high, the bar was in a high traffic zone, and there was no TV for the lonely hearts out there. Oh, it's also BYOB. For those of you expect sake with your dinner, be prepared to bring some along for the ride. If you're really anti social, they have delivery service for the Northern Liberties area.

I decided to try Koi after my friend recommended it to me. It was one of the best recommendations that have come my way! I went last week, and I have been craving it everyday since then! The sushi is amazingly fresh and delightful! I would highly recommend it to everyone who loves sushi...

Amazing sushi w/ great service at affordable prices in a modern/hip atmosphere. Add the BYOB policy and you have got the perfect combination for an impeccable evening enjoying sushi. Remember to make reservations for the weekends because the place is on the small side.

Everytime I go to Koi it's fabulous! I have yet to try something I don't like.

Every single time I eat at Koi it is terrific! My favorite rolls are the Northern Liberties and the Tsunami. I also recommend the Salmon Skin Salad and if they have the Snow White roll as a special - get it! The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is modern (you don't feel like to have to whisper like at most traditional sushi restaurants) and the service is always impeccable. They take credit cards and it is a BYOB. I eat there (or get take out) almost once a week.

Koi has been a bright spot in the Northern Liberties restaurant scene. Been there about eight times, and each time I love it more. I would suggest Koi to anybody.
