Delicious
The fried tomatoes were delicious. The staff was fun. The place was overall pretty nice.

granny's parlour (in a good way)
The atmosphere is dark and heavy on the red velvet, but that is part of the charm of this consistently good and relaxed neighborhood restaurant.

What a pleasant surprise
My two friends and I came upon L2 by chance as we were searching for a place to eat in this particular area. Although we did not have reservations, the host was very friendly (extremely witty, in fact) and made us feel welcome immediately. The entire staff was very friendly and most accomodating. The appetizers were quite good. The vegetable spring rolls (special) were crispy, non--greasy, and plump with filling. I really enjoyed my fried tomatoes with fresh mozarella and basil. My red snapper ranks among the finest prepared snapper I have ever had. My friends equally enjoyed their sea bass. We ate comfortably and, at no time, were we rushed. I honestly can not wait to return and will certainly do so soon.
