Me and my friends had little time prior to the concert we planned to go to on a weekday evening. We comfortably parked outside and entered this nice and cozy place! The bar menu was great, the waiter was fun and we enjoyed every moment of it. A come back place for sure to check out the second floor and music. Thank you and Happy Holidays, guys!

You must check out this wonderful oasis at 22nd and South Street in Philadelphia. The filet mignon was spot on at a great price, drinks were well poured, service excellent. A friendly, diverse crowd with a brilliant host/owner that made for a wonderful dining experience. Atmosphere 5-stars. Music, 5-stars.

Many menu and specials dishes were removed from the menu due to poor planning. We were surprised that they had only four bottles of wine to choose from. The fried tomattoes were great, but they could not save the dry crispy duck they served. Overall, we were very disappointed with the experience. The decor looked kind of haphazard too

The fried tomatoes were delicious. The staff was fun. The place was overall pretty nice.

The atmosphere is dark and heavy on the red velvet, but that is part of the charm of this consistently good and relaxed neighborhood restaurant.

My two friends and I came upon L2 by chance as we were searching for a place to eat in this particular area. Although we did not have reservations, the host was very friendly (extremely witty, in fact) and made us feel welcome immediately. The entire staff was very friendly and most accomodating. The appetizers were quite good. The vegetable spring rolls (special) were crispy, non--greasy, and plump with filling. I really enjoyed my fried tomatoes with fresh mozarella and basil. My red snapper ranks among the finest prepared snapper I have ever had. My friends equally enjoyed their sea bass. We ate comfortably and, at no time, were we rushed. I honestly can not wait to return and will certainly do so soon.
