For a first visit the food was not very good. The salmon had a fishy odor. Do yourself a favor and do not order it. The veal parmesan was dark meat and so tough that you could not cut it with a knife. The spaghetti was limp and the sauce was watered down. The only highlight was the waitress. Go elsewhere.

My family and I go to this restaurant about twice a week. They offer so many different items that there is something for everyone. The salads are made fresh to order. They are always offering specials that vary from the normal italian [select]ions such as turkey and stuffing or ham. My favorite is the mozzarella salad with a side of the best roasted peppers ever! I suggest that anyone that likes authentic italian food try "Casa". The staff is friendly, the entertainment is great, and the owners make a point to make you feel at home. One of the best values in the far NE or for that matter all of Philly! Go and enjoy!

They serve, what is probably the best chicken francaise I have ever tasted in my life. A little 'old timerish' for the restaurant style, but they have a great early bird, which goes till 6, you can't beat that! Definitely one of the great northeast Philly italian spots...

Came in for dinnner recently with an italian friend of mine who recommended this place. I had not been here in many years. Started off with some excellent homemade chciken pastina soup. Tried an antipasto to start and was really disapointed. It was more like a chefs salad. With all the italian ingredients available they could have done better. My friend oredered a chicken dish which was really good. I went for the dish which I judge most italian place by, linguini and white clam sauce. This was pretty dull, flat to say the least. It tasted as if someone just threw it together without any worry about taste. Definetly disapointed with it. Asked for a side of roasted peppers and recieved what looked like one whole pepper with a bit of raw garlic on it. I thought you marinated the peppers? The bread here is great. It is worth giving them a second try. This place has been around for a long time, I know they are capable of better things. just need to fine tune a few items. Very varied menu featuring cheesesteak, pizza, etc. Will try again.
