    Miss it

Never ever again! Way too loud. Server had to shout specials. Could not talk to people at my table. Food was bland. Crab cakes came in a soup like broth and tasted terrible. Never offered beverages. Waste. Big waste.

Best BYOB and quite possibly the best Italian restaurant in Philly!

One of my favorite restaurants in Philly! This cozy, charming little place has friendly, enthusiastic and accommodating waitstaff to get you excited for authentic Italian dishes. Pretty much anything you order is going to be delicious but I personally recommend the mushroom crepes and gnocchi. Be warned that this BYOB doesn't even have soda and is cash only however there are small markets close by if you forget your beverages. Quick tip: they don't advertise it but they do a prix fixe special where you get 1 appetizer, 1 pasta dish, 1 meat/fish dish, dessert and bottled water for $35- a total steal for a ton of food!

    Amazing!

I love this place! Everything I have had has been delicious I highly recommend the gnocchi, mussels, ossobuco, and the Orecchiette Alla Toscana. It is a mom and pop place nothing fancy and after you go a few times you are like family there. Anyone who gives this place a bad review does not have taste buds!!

    Poor experience

Dryest veal cutlet of my life--that saying "shoe leather" comes to mind... disappointing chicken... mussles ok, but boring. Totally uninventive menu, poor execution... and the servers were rude and... just mean. Don't go. So many other worthwhile places to try.

    Dinner and a show

The food is great (whatever the gnocchi of the day is, you want it) and the staff is entertaining and helpful. Get to know Joe, the manager, and you're in for a treat—but woe to the person who asks him for cheese on a fish dish. A strict no-no to "real" Italians and a house rule (it's on the menu). You may eventually get your parmesan, but not without an earful first. Besides, why would you want something that hides the flavor of your fish?

    Amazing Experience!

My friends & I went there on a saturday night total of 7 of us.. BYOB and everything on the menu was reasonably priced. The food was amazing, our waitor was entertaining.. we felt like we were in Italy with all the accents & atmosphere! Great night out in the city that didn't break the bank!

    No bueno

We had a poor group experience here a while back, would absolutely not recommend it. The food was average, the host (owner?) obnoxious--he refused to give us parmesan for our seafood dishes because he claimed seafood and cheese don't mix!! Not worth the trip.
