Hands down the best pesto I've had outside of Italy. Love this hidden gem, wish it were not on south st but its worth it!

Been there many times and ordered in even more times. Great food, nice people, fair prices!

I was in town with some friends and we didn't know anywhere to go in Philly. Found La Fourno through this website and it was better than we expected. We needed cheap but wanted great food. This was the most reasonably priced place we went all week, Tuesday is one of their BYOB nights which made the value even better and our waiter, Francis, was the highlight of the night! Francis was incredibly attentive, kind, and willing to offer his honest opinions when we asked for them. We would definitely recommend this restaurant. Also, please be advised that when you see it from the outside and the surrounding stores, you may be a little confused if you're in the right spot but once you walk inside you will find cloth tablecloths, candles, excellent service, and excellent food!

Had a FANTASTIC meal here a few weeks ago - superb service, excellent pasta (vodka/prosciutto dish), and superb service with a great atmosphere and host! Don't miss this one!!

I have been several times and everything is good. The pizza rocks and the pasta is great. Can't beat the fresh seafood and when I want to treat myself I have the Veal Parm. The place is really casual and they make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door.

Was here for a dinner and could not believe how poor the food was! Nothing was fresh. Everything tasted frozen. Marinara sauce was completely bland. pizza was soggy. I was shocked at how bad it was considering it was so highly rated. Neither of us finished our pasta and no one wanted to take leftovers home.

Have tried Veal Parm everywhere we can... it's my husband's favorite. This place rocks! It is the best in all of Philly. And everything else is excellent as well! Tilapia is wild not farm and so fresh and fantastic. Try the Polenta appetizer or one of their special seasonal salads. Service is welcoming and attentive. Atmosphere is like a comfortable shoe. You won't be disappointed. Let the ownere recommend a wine for you... it won't break your bank account. Can't wait to go back...
