If you long for the old days...

of poor food, badly dressed waitstaff and a menu that has been uninfluenced by decades of culinary advancement then this is the place for you. Decor and furnishings have obviously not been updated in this century but the worst thing was the hygiene. The "menu" in it's plastic folder, was filthy form use. The food was unremarkable but palatable, fried or broiled from frozen, I would guess. Anyone who lists this as a restaurant with good seafood has not tasted fresh fish in years, my flounder with crab imperial came most recently from a box not the ocean. Our server was very competent, I wanted to recommended to her that she find a better restaurant to work in!

    Great Dining!

2 weekend in a row my husband and I went to Lehman's Tavern. My husband love the London Broil ..when we order it he always share with me because it's generous portion for one ..and for me ..I prefer order couple appetizer ...Our must have Shrimp Lejon ( is excellent ) and clam casino . Sometime when we want to have additional dish.. we will have King Crab Legs ( I used to work in seafood store ) and I think the price is very reasonable for the amount of King Crab Legs they serve ..Thanks Lehman for great food ..Great Service ..

    The best Seafood

I am a big Salmon lover. Not all restaurants serve really fresh fish so I am always on the look out for a place who has a great menu of seafood. The food came out hot and cooked just right. My Salmon was wonderful, as well as the twice baked potatoe, which I had for the first time. The service was very friendly. They do try to please. Not like some places they could care less you are giving them business. The owner even came over to ask us how everything was and sent us an after dinner drink. I did appreciate he took the time to chat with us. Lehman's is my new best place for seafood.

The Best Kept Secret in Delaware County!

My family and I have been customers of Lehman's for many years. The service has always been excellent and the food always consistently good. We had my daughters baby shower there a few months ago and was very satisfied with the way everything was handled. The price was great and the food, as always, was very good. They go out of there way to please you to make your event special. I finally get a chance to say thank you to all of the staff for all the years of dining pleasure.

    Bland, Bland, Bland

Went to Leahman's Sat. evening for dinner. Bland from the Salad to the end. Stuffed chicken breast, nothing but bread, no seasoning, not good. Very disappointed and Very expensive for food that was not that good. Glad I didn't get the Steak.

You Get What You Pay For

This is a comfortable, rustic old Phila restaurant. The prices are very reasonable given the quality and quantity of the food. The Prime Rib and Fried Oysters are always excellent, as are the Lamb Chops. They have Steak Fries that are actually crispy and delicious. The service is always excellent. If you want a fancy, lavishly furnished place, this isn't for you. But, if you want a very good meal with great service in a comfy atmosphere and at a reasonable price, give Lehman's a try.
