I began my dinner with a very nice martini. I ordered Adana Kebab, ground lamb barbecued on a scewer and served over two kinds of rice. This was accompanied by a special cole slaw, a yogurt dipping sauce and wonderful Turkish flat bread, warmed and served with an herbed olive oil for dipping. I brought my own wine and there was no objection by management, even though they have a full bar. I thought that was very considerate of them. This dinner was one of their more expensive offerings. I would expect the lesser offerings to be equally as delicious.

We have had Turkish food in Istanbul, in NY and in a number of cities around the USA. Leziz ranks up there with the best. The dumpling dish is outstanding and, as with all the dishes, benefits from preparation that uses herbs and spices to their best advantage. The owner and the staff are always attentive to all the needs of their customers. It's a wonderful dining experience for small or large groups.

We went to Leziz for a small meal before leaving the city to go home. I ordered the Zucchini Pancakes and my husband got the Felafel. The pancakes were very flavorful, especially with the dipping sauce they came with. The felafel was the best I ever had. I usually find felafel bland, but this was full of flavor and a little spicy. I also usually don't like pita because it, too, is bland and tastes like chewy, thick, white sandwich bread to me. The pita at Leziz was thin, actually had a bit of interesting flavor, and had been warmed in a pan. What a difference! The owner, Sal, was extremely pleasant and eager to make our visit as pleasing as possible. Next time we are in town we will make it a point to have dinner here.

We have ordered from here about 7 times at the very least, and each one of them they have managed to get the order wrong. Every single time we have called to order on a different day, they always remember us and yet fail miserably once again. And don't think they try to make it up to you, not at all. We just paid $40 for two donner kebabs (there was one missing on the first attempt) that we could enjoy an hour and a half after our first call. We like the food but will not be going back.

The food,the service, and the overal atmosphere was one of a kind, the manager and the staff were great..it was our fist time there and they made sure my husband and I left there overly satisfied..I would definitely recomend this place to any one looking to try something new.the belly dancer was the icening on the cake...

Last night we had couples dinner date night with my girlfriend and her husband. We love dining together because we like to try something new. Since my girlfriend's husband got S&H voucher from Groupon so they invited us to join them . At first i hesitated because my husband isnt a fan of Lamb dish but I when checked the menu ..there's others dishes such as seafood , steak and chicken so I said Let's try ! and what a wonderful meal that we had .. We had Pan fried veal liver ..love It !! and my husband got Rib Eye steak which he enjoyed very much,Lamb chop dish, kabob combination and grilled whole Bronzino ...We love everything we ordered including Baklava and Kunafe..our waiter Ilya did a great job ..We definitely come back AGAIN ...

Found this restaurant by accident as we were walking to our car from South Street. We never had Turkish Food so we stopped to look at the menu outside the restaurant. The owner saw us and came outside and talked to us. He was very friendly and told us about the food and the menu looked interesting so we came back the following week and were so happy we did. The food is outstanding, the portions great, prices reasonable and the service and atmosphere was excellent. We had Falafel and Kalamar Tava as our appetizers, both of which were outstanding. For our main course I had the Et Sote (Lamb Saute) and my wife had the Samsun Kebab ( chicken wrapped in pita) both were excellent. For dessert we had the Baklava which is made fresh daily and was the best we ever had. We will definitely return to try their other dishes.
