steer clear
Granted, the only reason to go here is for an after-party snack at 3 a.m., but not even vodka-numbed tastebuds can ignore just how poor the food is here. Cardboard for hamburgers served up by tired waitstaff (there's a difference between a playful bad attitude and thinly-veiled hostility). I gave the place a second-chance for a daylight breakfast, only to be served a dried-out omelette with no flavor. Depressing food in a sad old place.

so good
It was an awesome place in my book. Has a distinct diner feel to it. Quirky staff and good food at 5 a.m was great.

Weird little place
I went to Little Pete's a few weeks ago for the first time; the food was good for the price. The waitress was alright, I've had better...The place is certainly worth going back to.

Great (for what it is)
This cafe was recommended by the concierge at our hotel for breakfast. It was one of the highlights of our visit to Philly. The food was great and we really liked the old style diner vibe. If you expect to be fawned over by the wait staff you will be disappointed. Crusty gals with withering gazes. Part of the charm in my book!

Must Love Kids
Food tasted great and there was a ton of it for the price. Super friendly service, especially after my son spilled an entire glass of chocolate milk all over the floor (and himself). Only negative...they only accept cash and I didn't know that until it was time to pay. Thank god I had just enough cash on me. We owe a massive tip next time we're there!

A Lot for a Little
The only negative is that Little Pete's is too small for the volume of business it does. The place needs more tables, and consequently you feel rushed as people are always waiting to be seated. That having been said, what a value, and the food is really good. Their specialty, Texas Tommy is Philly Yummy. This is a great little place, and we will try it for meals other than Sunday Breakfast/Brunch. If you don't like steak fries, don't order the French Fries.
