    delish

O.k. I was there tonight and I had to write a review. Louis was as always wonderful-if only he liked girls.....hmmmmmm...... Getting back to the point, the app of pork tacos was soooo good, I can't but always get them. The 2 dinners we shared were equally great. The ribs were dancing in my mouth. The mix of crunch and richness was right on. The duck-a bit on the sweet side, but was counterbalanced with the sour of the orange and the crisp of the jicima it was a 2 thumbs up. I eat at so many restaurants and I am always disappointed, between bad service and crappy food, why do I bother??? I guess I can't go there 2 times a week. This one is still a gem in my eyes. I can't figure out why I don't eat at Lolita more often, GREAT service and Great food...why do I even try others??? Louis-he's also a keeper!!!

    Rude host!

On a Tuesday night with a half empty restaurant, our party was rushed out after less than 2 hours. The staff placed extra table settings/silverware at the two-top next to us and loudly announced over our table to our waitress that our table would be a ten-top during our meal. We felt that we were being rushed out. We were finishing our pitcher (by filling our glasses one last time), when the host came over, immediately took the pitcher from our table, and told us that the next reservation was here and we needed to leave. There was an open 6 top directly behind us and several other open tables. We were kind, respectful, polite, but they were rude.

    Formidable!

Best mexican food i've ever had so far. The BYOT is an excellent idea, and the fact that the waiter grab the bottle and pour it in the margarita drink right in front of you is cool. The place is a bit small though and noisy with peoples conversations. Overall, I would definately refer someone there or go back myself.

    Awesome

Just ate here for the first time and it was awesome! All of the food was great, we had the steak, pork chop and waluu and everyone cleaned their plates. The food was a bit spicy, so if you don't like that ask them to tone it down a bit. Service was great, but very busy on weekends so its hard to get a table -- they don't take weekend reservations. The margaritas were great-- we had the strawberry and the watermelon. But the best part was definitely dessert. One of the best selections around. We tried the bread pudding, the choc cake, the tiramisu and the cheese cake--- all of them were absolutely delicious and had a different twist.

    Great!

The service was great and the idea of BYOT is awesome. The nice thing about this place is they pour your tequila out in front of you so you know how much you're getting! Though the selection of the menu is slim, the salmon I ordered was phenomenal! The chipotle sauce was incredible. The guacamole-had better in NYC. It did take about an hour to get our dinner though-I think that's too long even for a Saturday night. We ate at about 10:30pm and were seated around 8:40pm! Was a nice place, not sure I would go again though.

    Amazing Mexican!

Best Mexican food I've had in a while. BYOT is the best thing since BYOB. Everything we had was delicious. No dissapointments. The space is small, and can feel claustrophobic, but after a few drinks, all is well.

    BYOT- need I say more?

Bring your own tequila is the first great thing about this restaurant, but certainly not the last. From the chips and salsas they bring over after you've ordered to the last bite of cheesecake, this Mexican fusion restaurant is great.
