Getting Worse
I have to agree with the last reviewer. We used to order from here alot and it was good, but has gotten worse. When I called to place the order, it was the typical comedy schtick with the Restraunt person not understanding english well, this continued with our delivery person, who had to pull over and hand his phone to a passerby to get directions to our company. (The address on the receipt was the same as our address outside our bldg, so it was wrong). I ordered a combo platter, the egg roll wrapper was full of grease. The chicken and brocolli was cut into way too big pieces (they should provided a knife as well as a fork) and also seemed greasy, the fried rice was sticky and not flakey like it should be. I don't know if the management has changed or what, but their food used to be very good, that's why our company ordered from them all the time.

This food sucks!
I dont know what type of chinese food you people are used to, but this is the poorest Ive ever had. The shrimp dumplings, sesame chicken, and fried rice all sucked! The egg roll was the only thing good, the rest of the food had a weird taste to it. I find better chinese in the HOOD! screw all your reviews, they steered me wrong!

very decent for the price
Very pleased with the quality of food for the price! Got two entrees and an app for $20. Everything was tasty. Decent for a takeout Chinese kinda night.

Finally!
Ok - so this is probably the best Chinese food in or around Philadelphia. I'm from NY, & lived here now for 4 years & hadn't been able to find decent Chinese food (expensive or not) until I came across Long River. Maybe not the best place to dine in (atmosphere wise)...but it's definitely a takeout or delivery place with really GREAT food! Haven't been disappointed yet... =*}

Bang for Your Buck
The food is great and the prices are even better. There are not that many chinese places in this area so I was happy when I found these guys. Also, I believe they're open late.

stroke of luck
was looking around the area for some decent chinese food and came across long river. ordered the bar-b-que ribs and pork fried rice. well needless to say this will be my chinese restaurant from now on. great food!
