I'm from California and in California, you'll find the best tasting Mexican food there is. Since I moved here to Philly, I haven't found any restaurants that made any good authentic Mexican food until I came across this place..best tasting Mexican food here in Philly!

Best Mexican food I've ever had in my life. Everything is fresh and delicious. I recommend the tacos rancherros. You cannot leave without trying the horchata as well.

I live near this place, and I don't just love it, I need it. The phone number is in a higher position than my mother's on my favorites list. I'm addicted to the burritoes, but the enchiladas with mole sauce are seriously amazing.

We are serious foodies so checked this place out on our way home from Phil airport. When we started walking in I was definitely questioning out decision but I'm SO glad we stayed. My husband had a torta and I the chile rellenos. It was delicious and an awesome value.

There is something left to be desired when dining in at Los Gallos. There are only ever two women working, so service is consistently slow, and there is really only one woman working the floor. She is understandably slow, given that she is the only one there, but it is frustratingly slow when your mouth is on fire and all you need is water. Its also tiny in there, there are two huge TVs that blast at full volume, so it tends to be congested and loud. It is decent and authentic food, so there's that. 3.5/5 overall

Went to IKEA and was looking for a local place to lunch. Found Los Gallos based on a quick internet search. The food was delicious and the service was quick. Everything we got was good and had authentic flavors. Would recommend.

We choose this eatery based on online reviews and were not disappointed. The food was delicious, fresh and authentic. The salsa and guacamole appetizer was so good that we couldn't stop eating that. After we filled up on that while waiting for our entrees, and we ended up taking a good amount of food home which was just perfect for lunch the next day. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. The only issue we had was trying to find parking for three vehicles as this is smack in the middle of a residential area. I highly recommend this for a true Mexican meal. I can't wait to return.
