    not to be mistaken

This is a very friendly, warm atmosphere, charming place to dine. Kid friendly also. Not affiliated with the pasta place in deleware at all. Prices are reasonable, about the same as the other restaurants in the area, i know because i frequent others that are in the area, dj every friday night, huge banquet room in the rear of the building, and the food is great. come check it out, you wont be disappointed

    Not The Original

I stopped in thinking it was affiliated with the original Lotsa Pasta in Claymont Delaware but quickly learned different. You are charged for everything including refills on your non-alcoholic beverages. Service was okay but unlike the original name sake you pay extra for your soup and salad. Food selection was good but a bit pricy. Don’t think I would go back.

    I wished I lived there.

I really enjoyed this place. I love the atmoshere is really authentic Italian. The food tastes great and the sauce is the best. I would go here any day.

    Ignorant staff

I went to Lotsa Pasta last night for the first time hearing only good things about the place we decided to give it a try. Well, where do I start? There were two large parties, 35 and 16 people and the kitchen couldn't seem to handle it. We were seated next to the party of 16 who waited an hour and a half for their meal. We waited 45mins for ours. The menu is cliche Italian and way overpriced. Everything is served a la carte (meaning no salad or sides with entree.) Service was fine, no issues there. When it came time for the bill, it was 38 bucks, no big deal until we realized that we were charged for every soda! No free refills?! Who does that? I am going to pay 15.00 for a chicken parm with no salad and get charged 1.75 per drink? I would have had a real drink if I had known that! So my boyfriend calls the owner over to discuss that we are paying 9.00 in soda charges and that is absurd. Needless to say, we will not be returning and I would advise anyone else not to bother eating there.

    Great Find!

This is a great place to eat. The waitresses are friendly and attentive. The food was excellent!! We've tried quite a few things on the menu and have never been disapointed. Portions are large. Drinks are good. Not sure what "atmosphere" the other reviewer was talking about, but it was a nice friendly atmosphere everytime I ate there.

Best kept little secret in Delaware County

The best food for the $ and nice wait staff. The sauce (gravy) was the best I ever had in a restaurant. It is our new hang out. Family loved it and kid friendly. Music on Fridays is great.
