Mediocre at best
Very average food. Nothing special. No big deal. The prices are quite high, so be prepared to spend a lot. Don't put this one on your list of must go places.

The best food in Lafayette Hill
This place is great, I am glad they took the initiative to go smoke free. It's the only place I go in Lafayette Hill for that fact. Why go sit in smoke when you can enjoy a smoke-free environment???

they've gone non-smoking
This is the perfect place! Consistantly great food, consistantly good service. the menu has something for everyone. the food is delicious and the beer selection is outstanding... the best kept secret in Mongomery County for the past seven years! now they are completely smoke free! if you come with small children get there early before they get too crowded.

A Must Try
My office is just around the corner so I figured I would give The Dog a try. Great Place! Great Food! There's something on the menu for everyone and everything is great! I love their homemade soups, salads and desserts. Actually everything is homemade from scratch. You'll swear your Grandmom is in the kitchen cooking. The dog is cozy and the staff is very welcoming. I love this place!

Solid Choice in Lafayette Hill
Best restaurant in Lafayette Hill. I've stopped in on several occassions and left satisfied each time. The menu offers a wide variety and the home made deserts are a must. The bar offers about 20 to 25 people to enjoy a before or after dinner drink. Generous portions and friendly atmosphere make it a solid choice any night of the week.

Happy as a clam
Love this place! Cute, clean and very friendly. Sort of a "Cheers" with really great food (never a bad meal). The food is consistently good. Can't get bored because they always have outstanding specialsand a very large menu. My friends and I go to the dog at least 4 times a week and usually have them cater lunch to our office one a week, the food is always great, the portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable. We have seen everyone from politicians, news and sports personalities, to the locals there, which I find surprising because The Dog is very low key and unpretencious. Highly recomend this place to anyone who likes good food, good drinks and good company!

Local Sports Bar
I've tried this local sports bar several times and haven't yet developed a fondness for it. The waitstaff is moderately friendly and efficient. The emphasis on bar versus restaurant is strong. Food is average, too expensive and not diverse enough in variety. Non-smokers -- such as I -- don't appreciate such a smoke-filled environment. The focus here is on sports, not food.
