Quality Food for the Money!
I've eaten here many times and although the spare atmosphere isn't thrilling....the food is!! Every time I have come here...lunch or dinner...take out or eat in, its been outstanding quality. I got there early today (11am) and they were ready to serve. I ordered the Middle Eastern Combo Platter- YUM!! They even substituted one of the salads for extra hummus at my request. The woman at the front was in the middle of cooking something I asked her what it was. She told me it was the shakshouka. I asked her what it was because it smelled so good, and I couldn't tell what was in it, and she gave me a sampling!! When I got back to work and tried it...I was instantly in love. I was so moved by her hospitality and generosity, I had to write a review. They are always warm and welcoming there and give you large portions. You'll never walk out hungry and always satisfied.

Good Mediterranean food but dumpy locale
I love their sandwiches and the Middle East assorted salad platter. The food is very good but the place is in need a good scrubbing, Kosher doesn't necessarily translate to clean at this location. The overall appearance of the restaurant needs some serious work. A coat of paint, some cleaning supplies and a good scrub could make this place a four star surprise.

Mediocre
This place is alright if you eat there but if you get the food delivered to you - it's like leftovers from the day before. It's good to have once and a awhile or else you'll have some stomach problems later in the day if you eat it everyday. I know from experience. I suggest eating there and not ordering it but it's alright nonetheless.

Only kosher meat place in Center City
Excellent soups and delicious Kebabs make this a great restaurant. Food is very fresh and service is good. Nearby parking is difficult. Arrive before 6:30 PM and you can park on Walnut Street.
