Mad Mex

Mad mex has the best wings hands down.Lots of different flavors very cheap and tasty Margarita's.The music is very loud reminds me of a club instead of a lounge/restaurant.The service is poor the bartenders are extremely rude I came here on 4 occassions and experienced the same service each time!

This place has a great happy hour with very cheap margaritas. Its great because the margaritas have real pieces of fruit in them. Service is pretty bad though and the staff are not very friendly.

I think I go here at least once every 2 weeks. From 10p-12a..its 1/2 off their Big Azz Maragaritas. From 11p-1a.. its 1/2 off all food. Its in university city, so you'll see alot of the college kids who dine here, because its so affordable, and tastes good. Try the pineapple-habanero salsaa if u loveee spicccy, its the way to go.

But for a place with a multitude of great beers and drinks on hand, the entrees are really more enjoyable in the afternoon when they're half off. I loved the chorizo wontons so much that I was inspired to try to create them on my own with their kind of sauce back at home - and almost succeeded! Even then, I still go back on some nights because the half-off Big Azz Margaritas is just too good of a deal to pass up. If you order the mango one, the delightful chunks of mango aren't way too sour as per the usual north american mango fare.
