Truly a Jewel
This south Indian (mainly) restaurant is highlighted by perfectly fresh, perfectly made dishes. When you are seated there are none of the usual papdums, but home made lentil and spice based strips served with two simple chutnies. Spectactular. You could eat them all night. But then you'd miss the wide array of standards and dishes you've never heard of. We've nver had a bad dish. All levels of spice are accomodated including blistering for those who want it. There's a great array of correctly made breads. And try a dosa some time -- what a treat. There are buffets on Tuesday evenings and I think weekend days. They're a tremendous value for the money. Mainline Jewel is the class of the crop here,
