We moved my son into Philly a week ago and noticed a pizza restaurant right across the street. Of course we had to try it. My son was skeptical ay first since he had not had a great pizza in Philly in the past. Wow! We're we surprise. Great service, a lovely family run restaurant with amazing pizza. I mean amazing! Thank you Mama Palma's for a wonderful welcome to the neighborhood!

We are a famly of four (with 2 under age 4) and have dined at Mama Palmas or carried out many times. The staff and owners have always been very friendly and accomodating to us, and everyone in our family loves the food here. The owner even allowed us to pick up a large carry-out order a few minutes ahead of opening hours for my son's birthday party.

I love this place, I was shocked to read all the negative reviews, The one about bringing a baby to a Restaurant I have babies and they really should be at home why trouble others . Love this place the owners have always been kind and generous with my family. When we moved in they sent over the most fabulous Polenta plate in the world and the Margarita alla Napolitana with truffle oil is amazing

My wife and son (20 months) went to Mama Palma's for an afternoon meal yesterday. We hadn't been there for a few months but now that the weather is nice we decided to walk over after I convinced my wife (I have always like it more than her). I have never had such an experience. As soon as we walked in (it was 3pm and the restaurant was largely empty) the surly man standing behind the counter started rolling his eyes and barking at me to put our stroller by the door. They then tried to sit the three of us at a two top despite the fact the restaurant was empty. When my wife asked to be seated at one of the four tops the woman walked away and didn't come back for several minutes, she just left us standing in the middle of the restaurant, our arms full with our son and normal baby items. When she did come back she sat us at a four top but the owner said "what's their problem" as she walked by and she said "they wanted a four-top" to which he rolled his eyes and openly muttered something under his breath. We proceeded to eat our meal but afterwards my wife said how creeped out she was because the waitress was standing in the kitchen staring at her most of the time. The bottom line is after this experience we will not be back, which is upsetting because this is one of the only restaurant options in the neighborhood. I am sick of these little pizzeria owners (Slice is another recent offender) who get a little bit of sucess not because of their food but because they are the only show in town and they go on a power trip and start treating everyone poorly.

Best Pizza I have ever had. A little bit pricey but worth every penny! Salads are meant for two and never forget to start with the Polenta bread with peppers. They have a wall of fame with an entire wall dedicated to (well deserved) awards and reviews. Service has always been friendly and I make it a point to always take my out of town friends for a great night.

Love Everything at this awesome place. Of Course, There is a charge for gluten free dough, the ingredients are expensive. But so worth it.

The pizza is fine, even good but the price you pay is insane for what you get. Be prepared to pay $22 for a "medium" pizza that is literally 8 inches in diameter on thin crust. My wife has an intolerance to gluten so she usually deprives herself of pizza and goes for the salad- which has always been good. We were excited when we saw on the menu that they now offer gluten free crust. We split a salad and ordered a medium margharita pie on gluten free crust. When the bill came for $50 for literally 1 salad, 1 medium pizza on gluten free crust, 1 diet coke and an ice-water, I was amazed. I noticed that they had charged me $5 extra for the crust. Stay away or pay the price...
