The Best Cheesesteak in Philly
I first went to Mama's way back in 1982. It haunted me for 15 years until I finally remembered where it was. It is so good, that I call it my gourmet steak. It is so rich, it probably is a crime to eat. If I were given only a week to live, I would eat 21 mama cheese steaks and then happily die. Sad to say for cholesterol reasons, I only go 2 times a year. Sad to say also is the fact that its almost like only a select few know about this real Philadelphia institution. I love Mama's.

Delicious Philly Cheesesteak
I have been going to Moma's all my life. I used to live in MYK/ ROX and have had cheesesteaks from all over the city. Moma's definantly takes the cake for best cheesesteak around. Their prices are a bit high but totally worth it... Owner is awesome and I have known him for years... Any problems he would help you out in a heart beat! Services is fast and friendly... Keep up the good work guys...Thanks!

Biggest Cheesesteak!
This place has one of the best cheesesteaks that I have ever eaten. It is also one of the best. We often take friends there just to watch them try to each a whole one! It is absolutely huge but very delicious as well. Also the Pizza is very good. Not much space in the restaurant though.

Look no further then mama's for the best cheesesteak in Philly. Try the chicken cheesesteak with spinach and garlic and sauce.

Refused birthday party
Mamas Pizzeria is anything but how they claim to be on their website. "Our goal has been to ensure the complete satisfaction of every customer - and meet all of your expectations and know that our customers are always our number one priority." Completely false! I have never encountered such a contradiction. When I happily called a month in advance to reserve a 10 person table, celebrating a birthday party and a family reuniting under the roof of their favorite childhood restaurant since the late 50s I was astonished by the brush-off I was delivered over the phone. When I expected to hear something like "that is wonderful" and "we are looking forward to seeing you again!" Instead the answer was "There is nothing I can do, you will have to wait and see if you get a table." What!? Thinking this may have been the dumb girl gatekeeper answer I asked to speak to the owner. Sadly, the answer was the same. I was heartbroken. Clearly they do not want your business and to hell with your family.
