went there expecting so much because of its reputation. very disappoited service poor and so is the beer. great deck though to hang out if the bouncers aren't messing with you

    Pretty Gross!

Gave it a try for the beer selection. The food was bad but the drinks/beer was good. They were out of a few items, such as the stuffed mushrooms and the ribs (I can only remember the things that I asked for). The Salmon w/ cherry glaze was severely over cooked and the glazy resembled cherry pie filling. The Tilapia had the taste of fish that had been frozen prior to being served. The asian inspired soy glaze for the fish was nothing more than several packs of your typical chinese joint soy sauce, My fish was literally swimming in it. Sadly, I can never eat there again, but I may stop in for a drink if there's nothing else open on main st. Save your time and money go straight to one of the other dining establishments in the area.

    Very Cute Spot, Poor Food

Crabcakes and burgers are definitely sub par. The service was slow and unfriendly. The location however is beautiful, and it's a nice little place to socialize.

Nice view of the river, lousy beer

If you go, be sure to sit out on the deck overlooking the Schuylkill River. That's the main attraction. If you're looking for a good beer, you'll be disappointed - the beer is insipid. Why they think they need to flavor the beers with fruit syrups and whatnot is beyond me.

    Poor Valentine's Spot

One of two drinks tasted of soapy water; the other was not replenished the whole evening. The Brew House Burger was ordered "medium well," and came out charred. The Chicken and Shrimp Christopher was bland. The quality of food and service for the prices was surprising.

    brewery

Loved the place and the atmosphere, the egg rolls were good so was the mixed drinks...I know i went to a brewery and did not get the beer. Sat at the bar for awhile and enjoyed a conversation with the bartender, can't remember his name but he was real nice, attentive and attractive. I think his name was scott but I'm not sure....later on in the night we enjoyed the music....gorgeous people all around...I had a real good time
