no better than anywhere else. got the general tso's and fried pork dumplings based on the rave reviews of friends. the chicken was stringy and over cooked. the dumplings were oddly fleshy, the wrappers were thick and stretchy. never been in the place so i can't say anything about the atmosphere or the people. but the food was definitely not worth repeating.

Food is really fresh, the family that owns the place is lovely, the prices are low, the portions are large, and they're quick. Eat here. It's a good life choice.

The general Tso's is the ish. Best chinese food in fishtown. Never write reviews but this place is banging.

The delivery is very quick, and they are open later than most places in fishtown. The food containers are almost overflowing. I was shocked by how sparkling clean it was the one time I didn't get delivery. Thats the kind of atmosphere I like in a take out place.

Mandarin House prepares the best food of any style in the neighborhood. All of its dishes are made from fresh ingredients, and are seasoned with some care. The food is much better than average Chinese take out. You might never stop in because the joint looks like a hole-in-the wall. General Tso's Chicken, and Shrimp in lobster sauce are especially good. So is the fried chicken. Delivery is quick and efficient.

Food is excellent, full of flavor and nice size portions for the price, most cetainly my favorite place for Chinese food delivery.
