Good Food - Ignorant Server
Maoz is a good, healthy alternative to fast food. Fresh ingredients, excellent falafel and tasty accompaniments. It is tiny at best which makes dining in the store nearly impossible. The servers are absolutely ignorant. They can't make change, they get easily confused, and God forbid you ask for a plastic fork. The franchise headquarters should take a serious look at the service aspect. One of the servers was busily engaged on his cell phone while the other moron couldn't figure out how to zip his fly. Clean up your act or go the way of the 600 Starbucks soon to be boarded up.

Converted to Falafalism
As an avid meat eater i was apprehensive to venture into the world of falafals but to my surprise this place was great. small but fast and efficient the food is of good quanitity and quality i really enjoyed the eggplant and falafal pita and the toppings bar is perfect for those who want to try something without making the full commitment to the meal. I really was happily surprised by the falafal fiesta in my mouth go try it its got something for everyone.

Excellent Food, No Space
The food here is great. Huge variety of salad bar-style fixins for topping your falafel. Awesome fries (just make sure to vent them or else they will become soggy) The major downside to this place is that the customer ordering area is smaller than a small bedroom. There is no place to move around! You have to get your falafel fixins while bumping into the people who are ordering.

Good eats...
For being a little falafel hut on south st. they serve up a pretty delicious snack/meal... the small "maoz" meal is more than enough to satisfy most hungry people for an afternoon... or as a midnight snack (open later than most)... the best part is that they give you the basics... falafel, pita, and humus & eggplant (extra if desired), then they set you free to fill it up at their own topping bar (the small doesnt hold much and they give you three pretty good sized falafel balls)... it's all vegetarian deliciousness!
