Best Veggie Burger and Hot Chocolate!
My kids took me to Philea to this restaurant for my bday lunch. My daughter went before and loved it. I did too! We were served amazing Italian Hot Chocolate in a HugMug where you wrap both hands around the mug w/a spout like sipping area. You feel the warm of the mug multi-sense approach. LOVED THIS! Cozy/Feel Good and YUMMY. Also LOVED the Veggie Burger, the bun and the sauce. It was so big I took half home and it was so good I actually ate it later which you can't always do with sandwiches...Waffle fries were a splurge and worth the calories! Atmosphere was cafe like,tad whimsical and again cozy. Didn't buy any chocolate in the attached very cool store as the Hot Chocolate was so satisfying. Loved experience, atmosphere, food and beverage. Will go back with chocolate loving friends. A+

It's just chocolate!
Way overpriced for the tiny portions you get. Once was enough for me. The staff is excellent. Next time I'll hit a steak house for a excellent meal and a so so dessert rather than pay steak house prices for a burger and a so so dessert.

Overrated
Slow service, small portions, so-so food, way over-priced for what you're served...the menu descriptions are way off

Favorite restaurant in Philly.
This is my favorite restaurant. The hot chocolate is amazing! I will never be able to drink Swiss miss ever again. The brenner burger and the margarita pizza are my favorite entrees. Love the shakes & the desserts I've just wish it was cheaper so I could go here more often but it's well worth the money!!

Food for Thought
We are local, and we have eaten here twice. The food is mediocre, and the desserts seem ridiculously overpriced. However, we shall give them one more try and order "just desserts". Hope that they do not dissapoint.

stay away from the food
we came across it while walking philly and always saw the chocolates on tv and was very excited. But then we ordered food, huge mistake. ordered a turkey club. How do you mess up a turkey club, well go here and you will know. the bread was stale, the lettuce was sooo brown it was almost black, the tomato was white, meaning it was un ripe, thetwo ounces of meat was processed, and the bacon was like bacon bits. sooo very disappointed & when i told the server she could care less like she hears it all the time. pretty sad so stay away from the food!!

Mmm Chocolate
I have been to this restaurant twice. Enjoyed the mac and cheese and the cheese burger was awesome and huge. I was pleasantly surprised about how good the food is because it would seem its a dessert place. Well dessert doesn't disappoint either. Brownie sunday is great. Banana waffles are good too. Great liquor drinks as well. Enjoy it's well worth it
