From ok to Great to Worse

The first time I ate here thought the food was fair. I tired it again after i heard they hired Chef Matt from Hell's Kitchen. I thought the food was excellent. i found myself eating there on a regular basis. I don't know why they let him go but now the food is back to sub par.

    Twice in One Week!

My husband and I ate at M & D's for lunch on Friday and then brunch on Sunday. What a treat, twice in one week! I had my favorite burger for lunch, this time with barbequed beef on top! It was delicious. My husband and our lunch guest enjoyed their meals, as well. Sunday brunch with Mom was very pleasant. I had my favorite lox & bagel platter. The lox was a very generous portion of melt in your mouth fish. My husband enjoyed his chicken entree and Mom had eggs and potatoes, which she liked. The menu is creative and always changing. We have never been disappointed by any meal we have eaten at M & D.'s!

The burgers don't even need cheese and bacon

I'm not kosher, but have been to this place. The entree's just don't do it for me. The veal was interesting. I'd have guessed it was pork if somewhere else. If you find yourself having to go here, stick to the burgers with pastrami. The beef was great, and the pastrami was like bacon, but cleaner.

    This was kosher...?

We had a cold duck appetizer along with Turkish meatballs. The 24 oz Rib-eye was cooked to perfection (med rare) and delicious and the non dairy desserts were suprisingly amazing. Overall, a great experience and well worth the drive.

    This is Kosher?

Had no idea this was kosher food. Excellent experience. Food and service were great and a very nice atmosphere. Had a 24 oz ribeye that was as good as they get. Homemade desserts, including gelato and key lime pie were teriffic. Highly recommended!

    Really disappointing

Had two subpar meals here between me and my spouse. Won't go back again for the overcooked and tasteless food that was way too expensive. The server looked like she had been through it before when we sent back food.
