Great Place
Live nearby and it's my go-t0 place. Never too crowded, never too noisy. Just right. Good is eclectic and reasonably priced. Plus the staff is the best, hostess and waiting. Keep up the good work.

Best local pub
The best neighborhood pub in fair mount/Spring Garden. Never too crowded, great beer selection, and pleasant servers. I've eaten the wings, chicken sandys, burgers, hummus platter, and French onion soup. They have a fireplace in the dining area that's charming.

Reliable food, fun atmosphere
I frequent McCrossen's at least once a week, and it's always the same, good food, good drinks. If you haven't tried it, get in there!

Good neighborhood eats
We had supper with our son, who lives a few blocks away. The service was very good and the food was, too. I come from a long line of New England cooks and make a better chowder with freshly dug clams and real cream, but McCrossen's was passable. The burger was very good and done to my taste. The accompanying fries were soft inside and real crisp outside--perfect. My husband's salad looked fresh and inviting. Very nice decor in the dining room with lots of diners who looked like they come from the neighborhood. We liked it and will be back.
