Disappointing food
The only reason we came to Mel's was to hear our friend's group play. Music was fantastic. That is about all that was good. It was like stepping into a time warp. The food is a joke. The salmon was like shoe leather. The Milan salad $20. for iceberg lettuce? The mussels were mediocre. This place needs a real makeover.

Awesome
Can not rave enough about the food or service. A must try for anyone who is looking for somewhere different to go. Great atmosphere to just have cocktails and unwind.

Delicious!!
Great from the start. With fresh Italian bread delivered to the table. The Milan salad was so tasty, the right mix of shrimp, egg, dressing. I ordered the salmon special topped with crab meat and in a light buttery, white sauce, Yummy! There were so many specials to choose from, I love that. I definitely recommend Mel's to anyone looking for a great meal with a cozy familiar atmosphere. P.S. Mel made his rounds and he was happy to see everyone.
