never know what you are gonna get!

I used to order regularly from here till it changed ownership awhile back and even then, I kept going with the new owners because I liked the variety of the menu so very much.. but I never know what I'm gonna get when i order as the food that comes out of there is so darn inconsistent in both quality, appearance, and flavor... they change their fries every other day it seems, from skinny fries to fat steak fries.. I guess it's whatever is on sale with their distributor... I get steaks that really vary from being darn good to darn awful. they sometimes don't cut the sandwiches or subs in half even and I've opened up one's that look as if they were totally thrown together and I wouldn't serve to anyone looking like that... they never get the toppings right... hot food comes cold or just totally bland and once I ordered the normally awesome soup and it tasted like SOAP! I never had to return sandwiches before the new owners and I don't usually unless it's just really bad or completely wrong... I mean I am somewhat picky as to where I order but if I know the food quality of the place then it's not a problem for me.. it's not a big deal if they forgot "no tomatoes" I can scrape them off.. the trouble really is that you just don't know if you are gonna get the item you ordered or if it's gonna be prepared and cooked properly at all... or if it's even gonna be the same "brand" of item that you got from them a few days ago and replaced with the bargain of the week! I gave them a year or so, several chances, but I just found myself ordering from them less and less till I just gave up entirely on them.. such a shame.. and I think it was only when the owner was cooking mostly, he obviously never done this as he's lacking the basic skills any hired guns would have... it's got a large menu with a wide range, especially for such a small corner store, but the preparation is just all over the place... they may or may not have those type of fries that you liked last time... or the tenders, or the motz sticks... etc... and it's true of their containers as well even! one week it's in waxed bags, next Styrofoam, next plastic Tupperware... etc if they seem to be consistently searching for the bargain deals from their distributor on the sides and containers they buy from them each and every week, what's that tell someone about their meat and other products?? a real shame and I gave them awhile to sort it out.
