disappointing dinner
Went with 3 friends to dinner last night. Entire experience was very disappointing. Service was incredibly slow although the staff was very nice. Food was mediocre. Burger and fries were good but came out rare when ordered medium. Fish and chips had unexpected twist but wasn't great. Desserts were nothing special, the apple fritter was large portion and tasty but the coffee cake was not worth the money. Overall, prices were too steep for whole experience.

Fun new restaurant - bad location
We had a great dinner at MidAtlantic for a group of 12 after a football game. The food was great, service was spot on - friendly and good recommendations, and the atmosphere was lively without being too loud. The only problem is that it's located in no man's land. I enjoyed the welsh rarebit, the midatlantic burger, and my brother loved the roast pork with apple fritters.

Unique and Comfortable New Restaurant
MidAtlantic is probably going to become my new favorite place for a special occasion, or just to hang out. It's got such a comfortable feel and the service is very attentive and friendly. The menu is unlike any other place I've ever been. They have lots of Philly favorites like soft pretzels and scrapple, but done in new and different ways. The specialty cocktails are also amazing. This place is definitely worth trying!
