I stopped around 1:00 this morning for a bad case of the hungries. There was only one other customer in the store. I sat at the counter and had an omlette. It really hit the spot.

we go there at 4 or 5 times weekly, whether is for lunch or after hours, the food is always fresh and very well presented. especially after a night out the french onion soup is too die for!!! and the service at night is great, the ladies there are always friendly, and they make us feel comfortable. go and see for yourself, you will enjoy.

The last diner for Chestnut Street West, it is holding the fort with solid good cooking. Specials tend to be very good, good cheesecakes and layer cake specials. Some great waitresses, some not; take your pick. Not as friendly as Midtown IV, but at least it's open.

Open all night, breakfast around the clock, this is what I expect from a good diner. This place delivered! The service is your classic "How ya' doin' hun?" style, and the prices were reasonable. Clean, and well kept. My only complaint is I wish they had a bigger dessert menu, but what I had (cheesecake) was yummy! Not a 5 star elegant restaurant, of course, being a diner, but the best thing going diner-wise, and the only place on that side of town late night, after the bar closes. Overall, I give it 4.5 out of 5.
