    Amazing Crab cakes

I love Mission Grill. I dream about their crab cakes, which are probably the best I've had in Philadelphia. The restaurant recently changed the menu and some of the food preparations--but I happen to think it's for the better. Great value. The tacos are truly wonderful. I miss their shortribs. But I'm consoled by the fact that they now serve brunch.

    Southwestern shouldn't mean dry.

The food here was dry, including our steak and fish tacos. The Ceaser salad had so much cheese on it, that it was inedible. But the worst aspect was that when the entrees came out, we were expected to remove our own salad plates to make room for the entrees. Wine ordered when the entrees came, did not get to the table until we were done. Would not recommend except for drinks.

    Nice place, mediocre food

A confusing restaurant that can't decide between sports bar and southwestern cuisine ... but still nice inside. The service is prompt and attentive, but that's where the positives end. For the food, which was rather bland and lacking in creativity, it was somewhat over priced. The tequila [select]ion was nice, but be prepared because you'll need to drink all of it to stomach the price for a house tequila margarita. Overall not a bad meal, but nothing better than a middle tiered Mexican chain.

    Great decision

Heard of the place from a friend of mine. Decided to try it out with my wife. Both of us were blown away by the atmosphere and food. Would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new flavor to their meal for a good price. The Southwest Margarita was terrific.

    Great food--found it by accident!

Didn't even know MG was there until a co-worker brought me for lunch. Excellent food--good and spicy! I would classify as Southwestern with a Philly twist. Try the guacamole (watch out for the red salsa that it comes with--HOT!) Chicken flautas, red snapper and soups were good. Went back that same night--The bar was packed with hotties. I am a new regular!
