I've eaten at or gotten take-out from Mizu countless times. Only twice was I ever disappointed (and that was likely due to a single delivery of bad fish, or a single power outage, or something along those lines). Every other time I've been plenty satisfied. The quality of the food is within striking distance of that of nearby Vic Sushi Bar (which, in my opinion, is the benchmark for the Rittenhouse area in terms of freshness). The service at both establishments is comparable. And I'm not sure which is the better value: The Mini Party Tray at Mizu for $12.95, or the 3-Roll Special at Vic, since the former, though with fewer pieces, may actually be more substantial. The best thing about Mizu is that it's open 'til 10:00 pm--a full hour later than Vic during the week, and a half-hour later on Saturday.

Mizu is my favorite place to get sushi in the city. The one on 20th street is a hole in the wall, but the food is fantastic and so inexpensive. Best part is BYOB. The Downtown and the Dancing Shrimp Roll are to die for. Plus they deliver!

We order from this place fairly frequently. The Downtown and Mizu special roles are very good and 12 pieces on the regular roles makes the prices reasonable. Delivery is fairly slow but the food is always fresh.

This is my favorite place to get sushi in Philly. It's very fresh, and insanely affordable. 12 pieces per roll! BYOB! The greatest!
