We went to Moriarty's and had a great experience. The bartendars are very friendly and social. We didn't have to wait long to be seated. The waitress was excellent. She knew the menu and gave us great recommendations! Would highly recommend Moriarty's for a great night out!

I arrived at Moriarty's at 11:00 AM. I'd just had cataract surgery at nearby Wills Eye Institute and (due to the anesthesia) hadn't been allowed to eat anything after midnight. I ordered the Mariarty Club Sandwich, which is a very hearty item and a bit glass of Sam Adams beer. For dessert I had the chocolate tuxedo concoction, which is sort of a custard with a dark chocolate coating, and 2 cups of coffee. Service was pub-like, not fussy but cheerful and efficient. I'll keep Moriarty's in mind the next time I'm in the neighborhood. Visited May 2013

I have nothing but good things to say about Moriarty's. An out-of-town friend had listed this as a place she wanted to try when we were hitting up a convention. We were so pleased with our lunch that we decided to have dinner the next night as well. The atmosphere is great, lots of nifty things to check out on the walls, and the servers are extremely friendly. Prices were reasonable. The food was fantastic with a little something for everyone [and I'm a pretty picky eater], I especially liked the beer battered shrimp. It's a pretty small place though, and a little tough to navigate through during the dinner rush but it's worth it. I'd definitely dine here again.

Wife, daughter, and I recently visited Moriarty's for pre theatre apps and cocktails on 7/6/2001. Good Irish Pub atmosphere, nicely appointed decor, and very clean. We ordered a wings and things sampler w/wings, potato skins and mozzarella sticks and a spinach and artichoke dip w/pita bread. All were great, with a special nod to the wings, fresh large and very tasty. My daughter "had to have" a featured dessert that day which was a Pistacchio Mousse encased in Lady Fingers topped with crushed Pistachios and a green cherry. Very Irish Looking. Yummy was my daughter's reaction. With a Martini, Guiness, Jack and Ginger and several Cokes our tab was only $48.00, but..... as we were leaving our waitres Coleen came to our table and apologized for not deducting 15% with our show tix which she then did. When I asked her if she wanted to see out tix, she replied, "Thats OK. If you didn't have them it would only be a "pretty little lie" in a great Irish accent." Thanks again Coleen ! We all recommend you give Moriarty's a try the next time your in the Philadelphia Theater District

This place has a nice Irish flavor setting to it. But don't be mistaken - moriarty's has the best wings in philly and I will even say best on the planet. Here's the key - they have fresh wings off their chickens and the make homemade bluecheese that is suberb. And the wings sauce is homemade to top it off.
