I can simply say that this restaurant is astonishing! Morton’s greets you with a sophisticated décor, and a polite, attentive wait staff upon your entrance. Once seated, we were greeted by our waiter with specials and suggestions, and then were left to review the menu and enjoy the calm scenery of people enjoying their company, and most importantly food. We received our orders in a timely manner and every dish was professionally presented and tasted as incredible as it looked. If you decide to go, there are two must-try dishes, the macaroni and cheese (with bacon and onions) and the hot chocolate cake. I cannot emphasize how amazing these were. Overall, the meal was very good and I look forward to returning there in the future.

We have been here several times, and each time Mortons delivered. Perhaps it will seem strange to some of you, but I highly recommend their crab cakes. (Yes, I did order crab at a steakhouse, and I am not sorry! They were delicious! The waiter was courteous and attentive. All in all, a good dining experience. They don't always get the steak cooked right, and sometimes one has to send it back which isn't pleasant, but we surely will return. Seriously, if you aren't craving a high cholesterol steak, try the crab cakes. You won't be sorry either!

I've been going to Morton's in Philly a few times a year every year, even when it was back on 19th and Cherry. This is a fabulous steakhouse. You people did order a steak, right? A porterhouse or filet, right? The portions are huge and the price reflects the size and quality of food. Ruth's Chris and The Palm pale by comparison. Butcher and Singer is okay. Barclay Prime if good. For my money, I'd go with Morton's every time. I think some of you complainers would like the all you can eat salad bars at Charlie Brown's instead.

Morton's steak is among the very best that I have tasted. The ambience is sterile, not as much fun as Capital Grille or as classy as Prime Rib. Best for a business lunch.

Wife and I thought that Morton's would be a nice place for a birthday dinner. We knew it's reputation and chose it over other steak houses in Philly. We thought it would be a nice classy place...so we dressed appropriately ("business casual" was noted in description). Since when are t-shirts, jeans and buttoned shirts hanging out of jeans considered "business casual"? And what's with the guy eating his salad with the cellphone to his ear?? Atmosphere was definitely not there. Prime Rib was excellent and service was good...but the overall experience for the money was just not what I expected. I did expect more "class" for the money.

Clubby atmosphere and good service, with high prices and disappointing quality. Overall, a very poor value. You can do much better for steak in Philly.
