Great for Private Events!
I threw my mom's 50th birthday party here a few weeks back. I had a great experience overall. The guests are still raving about the food! The servers were awesome..especially the lead person Rona! The atmosphere was cozy and intimate and the seating was perfect. The staff was able to accomodate any requests that arised, and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. I think this is one of Phildelphia's top spots for private dinner-type events, delectable dining, and all for a great price! Highly recommended!

Really Soulful
From the moment you enter, you are greeted warmly and professionally by Mr. Parker's staff. The ambience is welcoming...Decor elegant w/ warm soul. Bottom line, the food selections are varied and DEEE-licious. My sister and I will defin itely drive in again....Highly reccommend for couples or larger parties. One small critique--vegetables did not stay hot upon presentation. Kudos to Alianna for serving us in such a welcoming manner.

Fine dinning
Great food, Nice atmosphere and good service. We got there early (4pm) as a way to avoid the rush of a sunday evening crowd. In a city short on good Soul food, This is a excellent choice.

Dissappointed
I had never been here before for dinner, went with some friends. I had heard good things about this spot. I think this place is too small for the amount of tables. My table was in a corner, I sat on the outside with my back facing the walkway. I got bumped. Everytime the door opened we felt a burst of cold air. So far not comfortable at all. I hoped the food would be worth me being uncomfortable...it wasn't, I won't be going back and neither will my friends.

The Best Overall Experience!
My friends and I had a wonderful time dining at Ms. Tootsie's. The decor is beautiful, the servers are great and the food is DELICIOUS! The other satified customers made the atmosphere even better. If you have never been, I truly recommend that you put dining at Ms. Tootsie's at the top of your to-do list!

Favorite spot
Have been to Ms. Tootsis's twice and plan to return. The food is fantastic, the servings are big, and the prices are right.

Wonderful Experience
Ms. Tootsie surpassed my expectations from the hostess who was truly beautiful to our waitress Rhona who went way beyond our expectations. She was the epitome of professionalism. I highly recommend Ms. Tootsie for its eclectic atmosphere to the comfortable seating. I will be back many times to hold parties and to have intimate dinners. The food was fabulous, we made reservations and was seated right away and received our food order within 30 minutes. Thanks Rhona for making my friends and I feel at home you were a great waitress and we will request you whenever we come back
