My favorite Thai
I love this place. I have friends who don't like their pad thai, but there's so much more on a thai menu than pad thai. Try a hot pot, chicken satay, beef salad-- all outstanding. Best thing on the menu IMO is the beef pad khing. Maybe the best asian dish I've ever had

My Experiences
My husband and I have been dinning here for the last 15 years. we have yet to have a bad meal. We've tasted just about everything on the menue. It is a diamond in the rough. Service is great. parking is the only drawback. LOVE LOVE LOVE

Great food
I love this place. I go here all the time and it's my favorite Thai in Philadelphia. The service is friendly, the food is great, and while it is an older place the ambiance is nice and quiet.

give it another chance
We had two poor experiences with take-out about 2.5 years ago and decided to give My Thai another try. Not sure if eat-in is plain better or if management/chefs have changed by wow, this place is great now. We've been back 6 or 7 times in the past few months. Each time the food has been amazing and service excellent. The food is so fresh tasting and doesn't have that "mass prepared" affect. Really good, if you've been let down in the past, you may be in for a good surprise!

Not so good
We ordered medium spicy pad thai that was way too hot to be "medium". I like spicy food, but this was inedible and the spiciness completely masked any flavor that was in the dish. It was also priced higher than another (better) Thai restaurant in the Rittenhouse area.

'Thai'tastic!
My girlfriend and I ate at My Thai on a weekday and it was really a wonderful experience. I had a Thai Curry Pot with beef and, while pretty spicy, was so good I'll be going back just for that. My girlfriend got Pad Thai and it was really good as well. This place is a gem, easily the best Thai food we've had in the city.

Scrumptious Thai in Tiny Restaurant!
I went to My Thai with two other guests on Saturday night. Finding parking was virtually impossible and we ending up parking in a lot on Lombard street. Once we arrived, we were glad that we had made reservations as the place is quite small. To start I had the Hot and Sour Soup with Green Tea Noodles! Delicious! Another member of my party had they My Thai Soup which they thoroughly enjoyed. I had the Grilled Salmon with Curry Sauce. The fish was cooked perfectly and the sauce was divine. My husband had the Orange Roughy with Tamarind Sauce which was fantastic. The last member of our group had the Blackened Salmon from the fixed price menu and that was delicious as well. For dessert we shared the Pumpkin Custard which was good and not overly sweet. We will certainly be back soon!
