I love the idea of Naked Chocolate and I love sitting there next to all the windows surrounded by chocolate and listening to someone play the cello, but I have to say... I'm underwhelmed by the food. Ok, maybe I was expecting too much because of how cute the place is and subjected it to high expectations. For now I will just say whelmed. The cake was dry and the truffles un-extraordinary. The service was great though and like I said, the atmosphere is fun and relaxed. Bring a book and sip some chocolate, but don't expect too much from the desserts...

I had about a mile walk from my hotel at Penn Landing to The Naked Chocolate Cafe but let me tell you, it was certainly worth it. This is a great way to relax and enjoy the scenery of Philadelphia. I had a coconut cream stuffed cupcake and the iced mocha blend drinking chocolate. The cupcake was huge and decadently moist but surprisingly not overly sweet. The iced drinking chocolate was rich with bold chocolate flavor and again not overly sweet but with just the right balance of creaminess and depth. Both were excellent and the staff was very attentive and knowledgeable about the vast array of chocolates offered. I'd highly recommend spending some time pampering yourself at the Nake Chocolate Cafe

The Best! Their sipping chocolates (petitie spicy is a favorite) are to die for. Cupcakes are phenomenal. LOVE the apple lemonade. Prices are good. It's difficult to order above/through the display case and seating is sometimes limited, but I'll go back time and time again. I've already requested gift certificates for all upcoming holidays/celebrations!

The people are friendly and happy, who wouldn't be with all that chocolate. The place smells fabulous, the cheesecake is to die for, the little chocolate pyramids are a do not miss and the cupcakes are better than nanas. Don't miss this place! It's so good it's surreal!! No kidding.

The frozen drinking chocoalte was amazing! Everything else looked great, but that's all I've had so far. I plan to go back!
