Simply the best Vietnamese in Philly
Everything is fantastic! Really, nothing they do is bad. If you don't like it, you probably don't like the dish because you can be sure they got it right.

Wonderful
A friend introduced me to Nam Phuong several years ago, and I was hooked from the get-go. If you're an omnivore and you have a companion who also eats meat, I highly recommend the Three Delight, which is basically a make-your-own-summer-roll dish with an abundance of pork, beef, shrimp, herbs, and vegetables. If you're an herbivore, go for the vermicelli with vegetarian spring rolls--it's to die for. My only complaint about the place is that it can get pretty crowded around dinnertime, especially on the weekend, which can make parking and getting a table a bit of a hassle. But the food is worth it--especially given the almost ridiculously low prices.

excellent
Really good Vietnamese food--good value, nice staff, though service is a bit lacking due to a language barrier. Still, it's one of the best places for Vietnamese food in the city.

Awesome
I visit Nam Phuong as often as possible. They have truly excellent Vietnamese fare, especially considering the low prices. I'm particularly fond of their summer rolls, vermicelli dishes, and roasted quail. Service is friendly and attentive, and the restaurant itself, while spare, is large and inviting. Unfortunately, they don't have banh mi on the menu, so if you want one, you'll have to go next door.

Best Vietnamese food of Philly!
I love this place. I come here at least once a week. Everything is so delicious and cheap. The pho is the best I have had in Philly. At less than $6 for a bowl of pho, this place is a must-try.

Affordable and authentic...
As others have stated, this is very authentic /delicious vietnamese food with reasonable prices. Because of the mix of delicious-ness and affordability, this place can be very busy at times. Strangley enough, I found the service to be worse at times when it is less crowded. Bonus points if you can grab an off street parking spot in the lot on-site. Worth the trip to South Philly!
