My husband and i frequent there, i like the white borst soup and he the tripe, best soup in town. the potato pancakes are excellent!! i tried Syrenka's last week' oh, the potato pancakes were horrible and very greasy, the kielbasa was far from tasting like any polish kielbasa i ever ate. i will never go there again and they are very pricey. New Wave is a great place.

My Polish wife, Non-Polish sister and brother enjoyed a memorable evening at the New Wave Cafe Tuesday night. The food was just like my wife's grand mother used to make and I couldn't stop eating. Our server worked very hard to make us feel comfortable and was very attentive while giving us plenty of time to relax and savor our meal. We lingered for about an hour afterwards just talking not wanting to leave. I give the atmosphere high marks because if your looking for a restaurateur driven experience there are plenty of them out there. If you are looking for a traditional, warm and welcoming place to escape the everyday, its perfect! I wouldn't change a thing!

Have been to The New Wave 3 times and every time had a wonderful Polish meal. I love the bean soup, beet salad, kielbasa, pork and pierrogi. The last time there was a very obnoxious patron at the bar being loud and using vulgar language which put a damper on the meal especially when he was not asked to leave. He left on his own volition. Will I go back? Absolutely.
