Great lunch with a friend
I chose simple fare. :-) shrimp salad sandwich and snapper soup.... both were great. Shrimp was perfectly cooked not over done at all.

Better than "In-Town"
The greatest Seafood restaurant in the Northeast! Nice size portions, cooked to perfection and tastes so delicious. If you are a seafood lover, you must give this place a try. You won't be disappointed!

Consistently great
You are welcomed immediately. The staff shows such friendly hospitality. Nichol's has a homey atmosphere and it is always kept neat and clean. The menu is varied and augmented by special dishes. My family, friends, and I have never been disappointed. Every meal is fabulous.

Perfect Every time!
The same guy has been doing their crab legs forever - and they are perfect everytime! If you like seafood you will love this place - the portions are huge and the quality is great. The atmosphere is very much family dinner. Oh- and check their specials for their bannana's foster for dessert - awesome!

Poorest meal I have eaten in a long time.
The no name oysters came out of a plastic bucket. You know because empty tubs are sitting around used fro storage. The oysters are HUGE and are served in pre-used oyster shells that are way too small. I had to cut it in half and I almost got sick when I put it in my mouth due to the taste and smell. The oyster stew was no better. It was warm milk with a big slab of cold butter in the middle and the oysters were so chewy I had to spit it out. Mashed potatoes had a wierd flavor. Pickeled beets were good only because they came from a jar. The waitress didn't know the menu at all and they were out of a lot of items. My family and I didn't hardly eat any food and threw it out when we got home. The stuffed flounder was ok but dry. My daughters scallops tasted funny so no one would eat them. They need a remodel and a new cook. We will never eat there again.
