All you people who have the time to sit around and slander a buisness are losers this place has great food... U can complain all u want about it taking a hour.. That's because it's BBQ not fast food it takes time to make perfect

Everything about this place is amazing, food is awesome and made with care. The environment is fun to be around everyone is friendly and care about their costumers happiness. I suggest the nick special its fliet mignon topped with spin and cheese its to die for. Also any of the chicken sandwiches the chicken is so juicy and fresh youll crave it every week. -very happy costumer highly recommended

I don't understand the negative reviews!?! Every time I order I get amazing food for a great price. Their ribs are always tender and moist, their half chicken is to die for and their wings are so succulent and moist , compaired to other joints that deep fry their wings. Nicks is the Best BBQ in Philly!

Nick's is a modestly priced place that can have better service and quality but could serve in a pinch if you are tired of traditional take out. The only true regret is to see they have fallen into the same mind set as any other company where they feel in order to provide you a "service" of what was once free delivery is now a cost to you, which probably does not go to the driver and that person should receive it as part of his tip. The store owners do not use their own vehicles for delivery nor they themselves make deliveries (that are most of the time are on time). However, the one owner is pretty personal if you engage this person and the same for the front desk/orderers. The locals that frequent there tend to be sociable and that is a plus. It would also be nice to see them find more meals that a vegetarian or even a vegan can come in to get a veggie wrap or pita or something that has no meat. Enjoy your meal.

I decided to give nicks a second chance, avoided delivery, and opted for pick up. I had something simple: a bacon cheeseburger. It was edible, but the quality of the food was quite poor. Dry meat, and old chewy bread. Definitely needs some improvement.

I'm a hamburger lover, and the burger from Nick's was a great surprise. It's a very large patty on a delicious roll, and their fries were great too... a big order with just the right amount of "fried" to them. Delivery can be slow, but if it's fast this is a burger to be recommended.
