    Nothing But Love for NH

This place is awesome. Fantastic food, incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. The bartenders are phenomenal. Beers are the best! I have never left here unhappy or anywhere close to sober. It is always a delight! Highly recommended!

    Awesome beers.

I'm a big fan of micro brews and this place was an awesome find. The Cask beer had me limping out the door. It was really complex and well flavored. Possibly better than the beer was our server-- blonde hair, big smile-- who knew everything there was to know about beer. She was really friendly and helpful in making selections for my group.

    Decent bar food

The food at Nodding Head was nothing special but it was decent. If you are looking for simple bar food than this place should suffice. You get a lot of food for the money. The service is good and the atmosphere is nice (though pretty dark). The beer, while better than the mass produced macro-brews, is nothing special for the craftbrew fan who has had exposure to a number of craft beers.

    Grog good

I love this place, though the food is better at Monk's (another Fergie joint). Another reviewer disliked the grog but for me it is the best Philly-brewed beer around--try it, at least...

    Best microbrewery in Philadelphia

I frequent the nodding head and have been overwhelmed with satisfaction every time. The beer is amazing and as far as bar food goes, this is hard to beat.

    Nothing Head

Two out of the three brews I tried were so-so. One was very good. The hummus appetizer was excellent, but the entrees were only average, We were there around 5:00 PM and there were not many patrols, but the waitress was slow anyway. We had to wait far too long to order the first brew - A "Grog" which I do not recommend.
